Scholarships Rules 2020/21


1.- Economic allocation of the call

SCHOLARSHIPS A- For students who are starting their guitar studies:

Donation of 10 Alhambra guitars, study line for those who start their guitar studies in the year 2020-21.(Only Europe).

SCHOLARSHIPS B- For students who have already taken a first course and continue with their guitar studies.

10 Scholarships of 100 euros for students who are continuing their elementary, middle, professional or any other degree different from Higher Education.

SCHOLARSHIPS C- For students in Higher Education.

2 Scholarships of 500 euros for students who are studying in a Higher School of Music.


2.- Beneficiaries

All students officially enrolled in an official public or private conservatory, school or authorized centre for the 2020-2021 academic year to continue their guitar studies are eligible for this call for Scholarships.

The scholarships will be requested by the student enrolled in the guitar studies.

In the case of minors, the applicant will also be the beneficiary of the aid, in which case the documentation of the parent orguardian will be required for the appropriate legal purposes.

Only one grant may be applied for per person.


3.- Completion and Presentation of the Application

The application will be completed and presented exclusively through the  computer platform enabled for this purpose and which can be accessed from the portal:  

No other type of documentation will be accepted by other written or digital means.

The following data and documentation must be provided:


3.1- By the Applicant:

A- Personal data:

i) Official identification document of the Applicant. In the case of minors, the legal representative or guardian.

B- Academic data:

i) List of subjects and grades taken in 2019/2020 for students who apply for B and C scholarships.


4.- Award criteria

Mode A. The guitars for the students who are starting their studies will be awarded by means of a draw.

Mode B and C. The rest of the grants will be awarded on the basis of the grades obtained in the last school year. If there are several applicants with the same grades, a draw will be made among them.

Likewise, a waiting list will be drawn up so that, in the event of cancellation of  the Grant Applicants, they can be replaced by other Applicants who have not previously received a Grant.


 5.- Obligations of the beneficiaries

Once the resolution of the grant has been received by e-mail, the scholarship holders must:

a) Provide the necessary documentation to make the payment of the scholarship or the shipment of the guitar.

b) Carry out the studies for which the scholarship was requested, providing proof of registration.

c) Participate and collaborate in those acts and events that are organized from Alhambra for the diffusion and communicationof this program.

Failure to comply with any of these obligations will result in the loss of the scholarship granted.


6.- Deadlines for presentation, resolution and acceptance

The deadline for the introduction of applications by Applicants, will begin with the publication of the call on the web and will close on 30th September 2020 at 23.59 h.

The Provisional Resolution will be published on October 14th, 2020 at the latest, and a period of 10 working days will be granted for any possible claims, which must be duly justified and substantiated. Complaints due to lack of documentation by the applicants will not be dealt with.

The final decision shall be taken by 21st October 2020 at the latest.

In addition, applicants who have been granted a scholarship will be notified by e-mail.


7.- Payment of scholarships

& The amount of the scholarship will be transferred to the applicant's account in one payment.

Failure by the beneficiary of the scholarship to comply with any of the obligations contained in these rules will result in the loss  of the scholarship granted.


8.- Data Protection

The data provided by the participants (including those corresponding to the family unit) will be processed in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulations, the legal basis for such processing being the grant   award process itself. The data processor is Manufacturas Alhambra, with registered office at Calle Duquesa de Almodóvar, 17, 03830 Muro de Alcoy, Alicante, CIF B03016821.

The purpose of the processing will be to coordinate and manage the process for the granting of the scholarships and thus comply with the object set out in these rules. The data provided will be kept during the process of granting the scholarships and as long as you do not request us to delete it or for the years  necessary to comply with legal obligations.

In any case, the interested party may revoke at any time the consent given for the participation in the present program, as well as exercise their rights of access, rectification, suppression, limitation of the treatment, opposition or in   their case the portability of the data by means of a request addressed to the Person in Charge of the Treatment, in writing and accrediting their identity, to the e-mail address  or to the postal address, calle Duquesa de Almodóvar, 17, 03830 Muro de Alcoy, Alicante.
